In the 2024/25 financial year, Uasin Gishu's Department of Health contributed to a 22% surge in the County’s own-source revenue.

“We must maximize our revenue streams not just for the sake of numbers, but to ensure our people receive the services they deserve—without delay and without compromise,” said health CECM Eng Joseph Lagat.

Health Services County Executive Joseph Lagat stressed the importance of scaling up revenue generation, urging facility managers to be proactive and innovative.

The farmer of British origin claims they had agreed on the withdrawal of Ksh 10 million from his late father's estate, but the lawyer withdrew Ksh 30 million.

He gave the family only Ksh 5 million.

In the case before the Eldoret High Court, the farmer, Bill Esselink, claims the LSK chairperson, Henry Kenei, illegally withdrew the money from the bank.

Trans Nzoia Education CECM Janerose Mutama said the policy will help in addressing key challenges facing vocational institutions.

The world 1500m record set by Kenya’s Faith Kipyegon at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Eugene in July has been ratified by World Athletics.

Clocking 3:48.68 at the Prefontaine Classic on 5 July, multiple Olympic and world champion Kipyegon took 0.36 off the world record of 3:49.04 she set in Paris on 7 July 2024.
