Yei Joint Stars Fc Secures Historic Kit Sponsorship Deal for 2025/26 Season
Yei Joint Stars FC has on Wednesday signed a one-season kit sponsorship agreement with three corporate partners, marking a historic milestone in South Sudanese football. The club reached separate agreements with Trueline Africa limited, Larry Investment Company Limited, and Horizon IT Solution Company ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
The landmark partnership makes Yei Joint Stars FC the first community-based (“family”) football club in South Sudan to secure a multi-company kit sponsorship deal of this scale. Club officials described the agreement as a major boost to the team’s preparations for inter-club continental competitions.
Under the deal, Trueline Africa Limited committed SSP 49,335,000, Larry Investment Company Limited pledged SSP 19,250,000, while Horizon IT Solution Company contributed SSP 11,000,000. The combined value of the sponsorship stands at SSP 79.5 Million for the 2025/26 season.
According to the agreement, Trueline Africa will serve as the main front-of-jersey sponsor, Larry Investment Company Limited will feature on the right-hand side of the kit, and Horizon IT Solution Company will appear on the left-hand side. The sponsorship covers the club’s official home and away match-day kits, as well as replica jerseys for supporters, and is valid for one season only.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Yei Joint Stars FC Secretary General Mabe clement said the club views the partnership as a stepping stone toward long-term development. He revealed that the club’s management is working toward establishing its own sports academy and continues to seek additional corporate support.
“We are determined to improve our performance, especially in intercontinental competitions,” Mabe clement said. “With the support of these companies, we believe the team is better positioned to achieve its dreams and raise the profile of South Sudanese football.”
Meanwhile, Trueline Africa Limited Chief Executive Officer Mr. Peter said Yei Joint Stars FC is the first football club the company has partnered with. He praised the club’s journey and growth, noting that the sponsorship reflects confidence in its vision and future.
“This partnership with Yei Joint Stars FC will not be our first or last involvement in football,” Mr. Peter said. “There is more to come as we continue to support sports development.”
The sponsorship agreement is widely seen as a significant step forward for Yei Joint Stars FC and a positive signal for increased private-sector involvement in South Sudan’s football sector.
