Why Sudden Change of Statement on The Amount Recovered?, From Ksh 250 Million to Ksh 65 Million: EACC CEO Abdi Ahmed Mohamud now says the authority recovered KSh 65,300,000, at the Syokimau residence of Patrick Analo Akivaga, Nairobi Chief Officer for Urban Development and Planning
Through a statement, It is alleged that Mr. Analo has been receiving millions of shillings in cash and M-Pesa deposits.
The operation yielded valuable evidentiary material to support the ongoing investigations, including KES 51,300,000 and USD 113,000 (approximately KES 14,000,000), totalling KES 65,300,000, recovered at his residence in Syokimau, Machakos County, and in his motor vehicle’s boot.
Other valuable evidence recovered includes several title deeds, motor vehicle logbooks, laptops, land and motor vehicle sale agreements, approval plans from Nairobi County Government, mobile phones, iPads, electronic accessories, and other documentary evidence.
