A fierce contest is expected in Embu County ahead of Governor Martin Wambora’s exit after serving his second and final term.
Mizani Africa, a modern research firm conducted a Gubernatorial race survey in Embu County amongst the top contenders in the county. In the survey conducted to understand voter preference for those seeking to vie for the Governor's seat in Embu County, the research firm conducted an opinion survey between 2nd August and 23rd August 2021 across all its four constituencies
The research firm applied and restricted itself to a demographic split of 48% women and 52% men based on how they show up during election day. Face to face based interviews were conducted unlike other telephone based surveys

Uganda Considers Jail Time For Those Who Refuse COVID-19 Vaccination

Last week, Uganda’s state minister for trade introduced an amendment to the Public Health Act that would impose fines and jail sentences on those who evade measures meant to curb the spread of infectious disease.
The bill does not specifically mention COVID-19, but of course, COVID-19 is the disease the country and the world are dealing with right now.
