Kitui MCA Cyrus Mutavi Musyoka, also known as Sonko (Wiper), has been arrested after CCTV footage identified him as the person who stole phone accessories worth Ksh 1.7 million from Buscar EA Limited Courier Services on February 8, 2025.
He had previously been beaten by a mob on September 18, 2024, after being caught stealing from a shop in Nairobi. This is the fourth time he's been caught by the public for stealing parcels. He represents Ikanga Ward.
The big question remains: why would an MCA earning over Ksh 200,000 plus allowances resort to such crime?
