On 5th June 2026 Hon Samal once again launched a multimillion bursary kitty, this Hon Samal believes is the ultimate catalyst for breaking generational cycles of poverty, empowering vulnerable populations, and driving long-term economic stability.
It ensures equitable opportunity, fosters social cohesion, and equips individuals with the vital skills needed to advocate for their rights.
Hon Samal started of as community development officer for the catholic church in the region. Stationed in Merti Samal saw how diverse and infested poverty is! Himself born amidst entrenched scarcity, hardship and uncertainty in Turkana community!
It's in Merti Hon Samal discovered how poverty and illiteracy devours communities regardless of ethnic and social barriers! An experience that coerced him to join politics and fold the ethnic mantra! Samal was the first MP in isiolo to compulse the two bigger tribes to amalgamate! Shun clashes and work together!
He used his first NG-CDF disbursement to build a collage in Merti! The next to put up Gotu Bridge to eradicate the manace that has consumed hundreds of travellers into the belly of ewaso nyiro river and devouring crocs🐊!
Samal built 11 schools in his first term as MP! Ten (10) in Merti-Cherab sub-counties! Education is Hon Samal trademark to bring on true and sustainable equality!
