Githurai: Through the lenses 💢
Season One 🔥‼️
Episode Ten 🔥🍆

It was a very nice place. Of course you could tell just by the kind of cars parked outside that this was not just some random place likeOut Vest Grill somewhere in Nyandarua County. It spelt class. I was nervous. Not to say anything. I was in my dreamland.

She showed me to a cool corner a table set with two chairs. The waitress was on us ready to take our orders. On the menu were some funny written names I didn’t even comprehend what they meant. I think were in Greek or something.

“sasa, utakula nini?” she courteously asked. She was hot chick I tell you. The working outfits she was downing portrayed everything her mama gave her.

“Nisaidie na stoney tu.” I said steling glances at the manager to see if she was keen where my eyes were. The manager; Beryl, Nyar Oyugis placed her order too. The waitress left shaking her huge behinds I think just to get my attention. I could not hide my lust anymore. I

looked at them seductively as she swayed them carefully to the right, then to the left not to topple the tables. On turning back, my eyes met those of Beryl who all this while was staring at me.

Githurai: Through the lenses 💢
Season One 🔥‼️
Episode Nine 🌹‼️

I was terrified. It got me by surprise because no man ever wishes to be known his real name by random people on these murky streets. I had choice.

On closer inspection, I realized it was the manager I had met earlier.
Manager: “unafika wapi? Naeza kukudrop?”
Me: Naenda hivi adi 45 ndo nione nitaanzia wapi.

I finished the statement while on the passenger’s seat fastening my seat belt.
She wore an elegant short dress matching a very nice blazer exposing her cleavage. I can’t tell if she was putting on a short dress or it was by design to use her clean and brown thighs to lure me into unwarranted sekete.

On the background, Christopher Martin’s let her go reminded me of my longtime first girlfriend Sweet Jessy who broke up with just to be with another guy who had an oxford mathematical set. The serene in the vehicle was just therapeutic. Nobody was saying anything to anyone. Just listening to clean music.

It didn’t take long. We were plying the Thika Super Highway towards town center. My curiosity was at peak. Of course I had to ask where she was taking me to. I didn’t want it to be like the case where my friend Ken was given a lift only to wake up in a tiny room somewhere in Naivasha.
“Tulia!” that’s the only thing she said.

I had not yet established if she was married or not. But who, at such a tender age gets a lot of cash to afford an expensive ride? Your guess is as good as mine. After five minutes, we diverted to the highly publicized Quiver Lounge. A place I know up to date that my education arts degree would not have taken me to...

Githurai: Through the lenses 💢
Season One 🔥‼️
Episode Eight 💦‼️

The interview was short and long in equal measures. She made sure she had acquired all the data she needed.
I did not shy away from asking her phone contacts. She was the truest definition of beauty.

“Unataka kufanyia nini?” she boldly asked.
“si we can catch up later and have a glass of water or something.” I did not mince any word I said. She unwillingly gave me her number though at the back of my minds I knew blue ticks and unanswered calls awaited me.

On my way down, I bumped into the same lady who had directed me to the manager’s office earlier on. She smiled. I was wondering what would make such a hot lady smile at a whole package of failure concealing in a human body.
“Hey handsome? Umempata?” she posed.
“Yeah nimemuona, I am hoping for the best.” I precisely responded.

We could have talked but if you’ve been in a supermarket you how those attendants are kept on their toes. Of course we could not miss to exchange the contacts. Githu 1 and Githu 2 were the codes I assigned to the manager the attendant respectively.
It had been a busy day. With my twenty shillings coin, I opted to buy a piece of sugarcane to at least chew down my worries.

Nobody back at home knew the atrocities their only son was going through. Almost feeding with the pigs like the Biblical lost son. I had vowed not to call them in the name of asking for financial aid. We left home to change home you know.

One step after the other I sneaked through the streets of Githurai 44 all the way heading to 45. A car hooted gently before slowing down in front of me. When the windows rolled down, there sat on the driver’s seat a woman I felt I had seen before. I did not care since I was not certain she wanted my attention.
Hardly had I taken a step when she yelled my name. “Jackton!”
