DEATH AND FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE LATE ERIC KIPKURUI KANDIE OF SOGONIN/KIBARSET VILLAGE.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Eric Kipkurui Kandie, who until his demise served with the National Police Service at the Nakuru Railways Police Station.

Eric was the beloved son of the late Mzee Samson Kandie (Cheromet) and Hannah Tungo Kandie of Kibarseet, Sogonin Village, Kabartonjo Ward, Baringo North Sub-County, Baringo County.

He was a caring and supportive brother to Jeniffer (Eldoret), the late Abraham, Aston, Mary (USA), Alice (Eldoret), Sylvester (West Pokot), Caroline (Reale Hospital), and Timothy (Qatar). He was also brother to the late Margaret, Joan, Sally, Priscilla, the late Harun, the late Miriam, and the late Dorothy.

Eric was a devoted husband to Jane Kandie. Together they were blessed with seven children: Frankline Amdany (Nairobi), Sylvia Jeptoo, Valentine (Eldoret), Brian Kiptinget (KMTC Kapsowar), Titus Chebii, Judith Jepkemboi (Ruth Kiptui Girls' High School – Kasok), and Mercy Jepkorir. He was a loving father, a dependable husband, and a pillar of strength to his family and community.

Funeral arrangements are currently underway at his residence in Kibarseet, Sogonin Village. A fundraiser to assist with funeral and medical expenses will be held on Wednesday, 11th June 2025, at his home.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday, 14th June 2025, at his family home in Kibarseet, Sogonin.

His boundless love, kindness, steadfast faith, and remarkable strength have left a profound impact on everyone he touched.
