Austin Odhiambo, a talented footballer, went to Ambira Boys High School (popularly known as Mobimba) in Ugenya, Siaya County. It was during his final year at Ambira that his football journey took a big turn he was spotted by Boniface Ambani, the AFC Leopards Youth coach. This led to his recruitment into the club’s youth team in 2016. After progressing through the ranks, Austin eventually broke into the senior squad, where he played until late 2021. He later made a move to Gor Mahia FC as a free agent, joining under Coach Mark Harrison.
