KABARNET: Tension as Vocal Youth Leader 'Zonko Classic' Abducted by Unknown Men
Panic has gripped Kabarnet town following the alleged abduction of a young man identified as Vincent, popularly known as Zonko Classic. Vincent is a well-known youth leader and the self-declared Democratic Change Party (DCP) chair for Baringo County.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred on Sunday evening near the SS area in Kabarnet town. Vincent was reportedly taken from his shop by plainclothes men who arrived in two Subaru vehicles. He was allegedly forced into one of the cars and driven away to an unknown location.
The abduction has sparked concern among residents and political observers, as Vincent has been an outspoken critic of President William Ruto and a key figure behind the growing slogan — a youth-driven movement pushing for political change in the region.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident, while friends, supporters, and human rights groups are calling for his immediate release and a thorough investigation

Matunda, Trans Nzoia County #

Residents of Matunda are reeling in shock after two bodies were discovered early Tuesday morning along the road just past the river crossing towards Nagil.

The first body, identified as male, was found dressed in trousers only. The second body, a female, was reportedly naked, with only a white sheet partially covering her waist.

Eyewitnesses at the scene expressed concern that the bodies appeared to have been dumped, as there were no visible signs of a road accident or struggle nearby. The circumstances surrounding their deaths remain unclear.

“This is horrifying. It doesn’t look like an accident at all,” said a local resident who arrived at the scene shortly after the discovery.
