Political maneuvers in Kajiado have officially entered a new phase โ and this time, Katooโs behind-the-scenes deal has hit solid rock.
Sources reveal that Katoo attempted to push the Ilmolelian bloc to convince Tarayia ole Kores to drop his gubernatorial ambition and back him instead. But Kores was not moved โ not even an inch.
When approached, Kores responded boldly and without hesitation:
(Letโs talk about supporting the Kajiado West gubernatorial candidature. Anything else is a waste of time.)
That single statement has shaken political circles across the county.

Kajiado residents are loudly echoing Koresโ message. Across villages, towns, and social spaces, the sentiment is the same:
For many voters, the era of political monopoly is over. They insist that Kajiado South must front a new face for other positions โ anything except governor.
Leadership, they say, must balance, and every subcounty deserves a fair chance.
Kajiado needs fairness, rotation, and inclusivity.
And with Kores standing his ground so firmly, the political landscape has just changed โ dramatically.
