PUSA, in a strongly worded statement, now issues the administration a 7-day ultimatum to sought the issue of limited seats in the lecture halls.

In an internal Memo issued today, PUSA Secretary General stated that they're engaging in consultations to alleviate the current frustrations including the issue with a faction of Nursing Students which reports indicate may not graduate despite of completing all their academic requirements.

He invited all PUSA members to an impromptu meeting at the Students Bunge from 4pm to deliberate on the concerns thereof.

Honours deffered!!

Jude Kaiser Mandere (Kim) successfully completed his studies at St.Edwards Nyabioto High School and joined Pwani University in the 2021 Cohort.
He was placed at Pwani University to pursue BA History.
He was inducted into the comradeship Community in September 2021, completed all course requirements and industrial attachments at Pwani University successfully coming to the end 8.4.4.Curriculum.
Over this week he had a short abrupt ailment which led to his demise at Kisii General Hospital just 21 day to his graduation date.
Kim hailed from Ogembo Mananasi Kisii.
Condolences to his friends family and Pwani University comrades community.

University lecturers issue 7-day strike notice over unfulfilled CBA.

The Universities Academic Staff Union (UASU) has issued a 7-day strike notice to the government.
On Wednesday, UASU Secretary General, Constantine Wasonga said that the government has failed to fulfil negotiated and registered Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs); therefore, university lectures will discontinue their services in all public universities.

41 universities have signed the strike notice dated September 10, 2025.
