Nairobi Film Production (NFP) CBO stands out as one of the most iconic creative youth organizations in Dagoretti, championed by filmmakers dedicated to nurturing and uplifting talent. Established in 2018, the organization has grown into a powerful platform, officially bringing together over 32 creatives and impacting more than 500 passionate young talents. Through its efforts, several individuals have gained international exposure, securing opportunities in countries such as the UK, Dubai, and the USA.
Over the years, NFP has successfully organized and hosted impactful youth engagement initiatives, including Dagoretti Youth Day, Usanii Conference, Creative Meet, Youth Dinner Table, and Talanta Mtaani. These events have created spaces for young creatives to connect, learn, and showcase their abilities. The organization has also partnered with key government institutions and stakeholders such as the State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy, National Youth Council, National Employment Authority, Kenya Film Commission, Kenya Film Classification Board, NIT, various NGOs, and local administrative bodies working collectively to energize and empower the youth.
Beyond events, NFP has actively promoted talent in local schools, children’s homes, and community spaces, ensuring that creativity is nurtured at grassroots levels. Recently, the production released a film featuring a Hollywood actor, which was showcased internationally in the Philippines marking a major milestone in its journey.
Driven by passion, purpose, and faith, Nairobi Film Production continues to expand its reach and impact. The organization remains open to enrolling new talents, offering a platform for growth and storytelling excellence. Together, they are shaping a brighter future for Kenyan creatives and redefining the narrative of local storytelling. 🔥
