FIFA President Gianni Infantino has confirmed the suspension of Kenya from international football due to Government interference.

The ban slapped by FIFA on Kenya means we will not be represented in any regional (CECAFA) , continental (AFCON, CHAN) or international competitions (World Cup) , including at club level (CAF CC, CAF CL). We will also not play international friendly matches.

SCHOCK‼️AS FORMER IEBC CEO AND COMMUNICATION AUTHORITY OF KENYA DIRECTOR GENERAL EZRA CHILOBAH CANCELS 60 BROADCASTING LICENCES.

Communications Authority of Kenya Director General, Ezra Chiloba, has initiated the cancellation of licence offers to 60 applicants for radio broadcasting licenses.

In a statement, the CA boss stated that the move was reached following the broadcasters failure to comply with the licence offer within the offer period as prescribed by the Authority in accordance with the Kenya Information and Communications Act.

The cancellation of the licence offer is accompanied by a notice of revocation of the FM broadcasting frequencies assigned to the applicants.

Some of the notable radio stations include Capital FM, NRG Radio, Mbaitu FM and One FM.

"Take notice that the Authority has commenced regulatory actions against the following listed broadcasters and applicants of broadcasting service provisioning licences for failure to comply with the relevant requirements as provided for in the Act," Chiloba stated.

In accordance with Section 46C of the Kenya Information and Communications Act, 1998, it is illegal to provide any form of broadcasting service in Kenya without a license issued by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA)."

"Contravention of this requirement attracts a fine not exceeding Ksh1,000,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or both," it continued.

Uganda is set to lose its only international airport to China due to a $207 million loan it took in 2015.

China has refused to renegotiate the terms of the loan deal, which states that China will take over the airport if the debt isn't paid.

Uganda will also lose other assets.

A tycoon has successfully acquired three airplanes including a military airforce jet and donated one to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader, Raila Odinga, to support his August 2022 Presidential campaigns.

The businessman, David Njuguna, acquired the three planes during an auction by the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) to offload planes that were abandoned at various airports across the country.

Tension High as KIMC Student Vanishes After Documentary Shoot

Tension is building up among family, friends and students at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) as a 24-year old student has gone missing for three weeks now after shooting a documentary at a carpentry shop where he previously worked for a college project.

Steve Gabriel Osiche, a final year student at KIMC was reportedly last seen by his colleague boarding a matatu at 10pm in South B estate, Nairobi, on November 1, headed to the city centre but no one knows if he arrived at his destination.

Gabriel's sister, Dorothy Akinyi, saw him last on October 26, when she, together with her husband and son, visited him at his house in Mowlem along Kangundo road where they shared a meal.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of this young man should kindly report to the nearest police station.

The three terror convicts who escaped from the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison have been arrested in a remote village in Kitui County.
Earlier, security agencies in Kitui were on red alert after locals reported that they had spotted seen the three fugitive terrorists.
Kitui County police commander Leah Kithei on Thursday morning confirmed that all security agencies in the region, including chiefs and their assistants, had been activated.
