HOSPITAL & FAMILY DRAMA 🏥💔
Alonso is recovering after leaving intensive care.

Doctor Sarah, who is a doctor and a friend, visits him, and he thanks her for her care, noting their friendship is more important than the doctor-patient relationship 😊

Alonso's wife, Rebeca, arrives and the doctor leaves quickly 😒 Rebeca apologizes for not being present when Alonso was moved from intensive care, but Alonso assures her that his daughter Lucía was there 💗 Rebeca then affirms that she is there now and will not leave his side 🤲

Rebeca calls AMADOR to discuss a business plan, stating that Alonso is trying to cut her out and she must take precautions 😠 She proposes forming a new company to act as an intermediary between the Talavera Gaxiola factory and new clients, which will allow them to profit 💼 She insists they must be discreet and keep their names off all legal documents 🤫 telling AMADOR, "el que no tranza no avanza" (the one who doesn't cheat doesn't get ahead) 💸

She threatens to fire Rafaela if she doesn't keep quiet 😡

🚑Nora's mother confronts a nurse doctor demanding to see her daughter in the operating room, getting aggressive when refused entry 😣 Family members eventually learn that Nora is also hospitalized 😱

Lucía visits Nora, who is afraid 😥 Nora confesses to causing the car accident, stating she did not put on her seatbelt and swerved because she was upset about the death of her child 🐶💔

Lucía is surprised by a visitor (Lalo) who found her address through his father 😯 He says he is in Puebla for business and, since he has nowhere to stay, asks if he can crash at her place for a few days 🙏 Lucía agrees to host him 🏡

LUCÍA AND MARCELO'S CONFLICT 💔

Lucía Gaxiola is very upset after visiting Marcelo's apartment and finding another woman there, Daniela.

She confronts Marcelo and asks if he is going to introduce his "amiguita" (little friend) 😊

Marcelo claims his relationship with Daniela is over and that Lucía is the only woman who matters to him 💕

Lucía rejects his explanation and tells him he's lucky she realized in time that he is a "patán" (a jerk) 😤 choosing to end things.

She later tells her aunt that she thought Marcelo was different but he has commitments with Daniela, who was in his apartment 😞

Lucía refuses to give Marcelo another opportunity, stating that "what starts badly ends badly" and she does not want a relationship that begins this way 🚪

Marcelo is furious and calls his mother, Doña Milagros, accusing her of interfering in his life and sending Daniela to his apartment as a surprise 😡 He tells her he is her son, not her "títere" (puppet) 🪆

When Marcelo goes to Lucía's house to explain the misunderstanding, Lucía's godmother (who is also her protector) turns him away, telling him he must resolve his private life before approaching Lucía 🚫

Daniela Suárez, Marcelo's former partner, shows up at Lucía's home and introduces herself to Lucía's stepmother as "the woman of Marcelo Escalante" 😏 She asserts that they have a long-established relationship and warns that she will not permit Lucía or anyone else to destroy what they have 🚨

Brígida's Accusations: Brígida accuses her partner Amador (who she believes is cheating) of having an affair.

He denies it and tells her to stop her emotional displays, stating that he has been having a very difficult day 😣

He reveals to Brígida that Alonso suffered a heart attack and is in the hospital, which is why he is under a lot of stress managing the factory 💔

Later, Rodrigo is confronted by his mother for coming home late and smelling like another woman's perfume while he is about to get married.

Rodrigo cynically tells her that she is the one with a competitor, not him 😒

AMADOR TAKES CHARGE IN THE FACTORY😹💓
A friend informs a Rodrigos mother that her husband has been cheating on her for a long time with a younger beautiful woman though the friend refuses to give the lover’s name 😱

The friend suggests the wife ask her husband where he was until midnight yesterday.

Later the wife confronts her husband Amador at his office with the accusation.
Amador denies it but she tells him she will investigate and if she finds out he is lying he will regret it for the rest of his life 💔

The factory workers are informed that Mr Alonso is absent due to health issues and Amador is taking over the factory’s reins.

Amador asserts his strict control stating that everything must pass through his supervision and authorization 👨‍💼

Employees express concern over Amador’s dangerous authority 😬

Lucía is distraught after finding out her sister Nora is with her ex fiancé Rodrigo 💔 Letty encourages her to see Marcelo to make them jealous but Lucía insists her father’s health is her priority.

Lucía later speaks to her unconscious father begging for him to be left with her a little longer and vowing that Nora will never take anyone away from her again 😭

Nora is told by her mother that her wedding to Rodrigo is postponed until her father recovers but the marriage must happen eventually.

Nora reminds her mother that their father asked for a divorce before his health crisis 😳 Letty visits Nora and reveals she knows Nora is pregnant by Rodrigo 🤰 The friend tells her she is now the subject of gossip marrying an insufferable man cannot leave him due to the baby and her sister hates her concluding Nora will never be at peace 😔

Amador interrupts Marcelo in the office claiming he just wants to see his old space but sees it as him only daring to visit now that the owner Don Alonso is sick 🤨 The two exchange tense words about control over the business ⚔️

Rodrigo’s father reveals that Alonso is trying to push him out of the business. He asks Rodrigo to help him using his deep knowledge of the factory’s administration and clients with the goal of tipping the balance in their favor 🧠📈

Lucía, Alonso’s daughter, is at the hospital waiting to see her father and is visibly distressed 😢.
Her aunt, Magdalena, is also present.

Lucía is concerned about calling Rebeca and her sister, Nora, to the hospital 😟.

Magdalena and Marcelo discuss Rebeca, mentioning that Rebeca married her sister’s husband and has never gotten over the fact that Lucía’s mother, Adriana, was Alonso’s great love 💔.

Rebeca, Alonso’s wife, arrives and insists on seeing him, claiming they cannot prevent her since she is his wife 😠.
She expresses her fear and love for him while he is unconscious ❤️.

Nora is forced by Rebeca to go to the hospital to “make points” with her father, despite Nora not wanting to go because everyone will know she is pregnant by Rodrigo 🤰.

A man named Ignacio Garrido is hired by Marcelo Escalante to work as a watchman 👮.
He asks about the burned-out warehouse, which he read about in the newspaper 🗞️.

Rodrigo tells his friend Sergio that he is marrying Nora that weekend but admits it is a punishment for the “stupidity” of getting her pregnant 😬.

The lawyer, who is clearly advising Alonso as well, quickly cuts the meeting short 😬.

Milagros, Marcelo’s mother, is determined to take her son back to Mexico ✈️🇲🇽.
