SO SAD
Yesterday as we were celebrating Mother's Day, a family was deep in mourning.
A GSU officer in Lamu woke up early morning. At around 6am he turned his gun on his girlfriend Sheila Mokaya. He pumped a few bullets. He then turned the gun on their 5yrs old child. In seconds she was gone. Convinced the job was done, he turned the gun on himself. And three lives were lost, gone to eternity.
I am struggling to understand how it became this easy to kill. Even a 5 years old?
Madam Sheila Mokaya who was a teacher at Mukunguni Junior School in Lamu central moved to Lamu in August 2023, slightly less than two years ago. And now she goes back home in a coffin, together with her child.
