My dad gave me this advice after a great depression, and I'd like to share it with you:
On the road to destiny, not everyone is obliged to reach your destination with you.
He used to say to me, "son, understand this wisdom: life is like a bus driver leaving Beni to Kisangani.
When the bus moves forward, there are new people getting on at each stop, but also people getting off. With every stop, the cycle is repeated. The people you started the journey with are not necessarily the ones you will finish it with, because if one of them gets to their destination, they will go down. »
This is how life works: there are seasonal friendships, seasonal relationships, seasonal engagements, seasonal connections.
In other words, you will have relationships and friendships that will last 1 month, 6 months, maybe even a year.
Never feel sad because someone leaves your life. It's simply because he came to his stop and his part in your life is over. You can cry, but let them go, because you’ll meet even more wonderful and extraordinary people at the next stop.
There are also people who will finish the journey with you: these are the friendships, connections and relationships of destiny. Losing them is an imbalance in your life. Learn to recognize them and don't let them go no matter the reason - I mean, no matter the reason.
(We'll talk about how to recognize them later. )
Eventually, during the journey, the bus can go longer than expected, fall into traffic, or even suffer a breakdown that leaves it idle for hours. It symbolizes failure, downfall, unexpected things, depression...
But never forget that the bus will eventually reach its destination—just like you, you will fulfill your destiny.
Don't give up, tomorrow is better.
