Hon. Silvanus Osoro ~ Congratulations to all winners in the just concluded by-elections across the country.Going by the results seen across the country,the broadbased team took 90% of the seats as the opposition shared the 10% largely on MCA seats.
Despite our lose in Nyamira wards by-elections,our UDA party increased their performance from 33% in the 2022 election to 39%,despite heavy opposition presence,almost 18months to the general elections.I like the fact that the entire brigade had to do rounds in the wards to make sure they clinch the seats even as they lost focus on the other national seats.
All in all,we lost fairly and we thank God for what we garnered.On behalf of the entire gusii team,I wish to thank all our team members for a spirited campaign that even with a lose,it has elevated our percentage in a county that only has ONE UDA MP and less than 3 UDA MCAs.Mmejituma kweli kweli.Keep STRONG!!we live to fight another day.Asiyekubali kushindwa,sio mshindani!!..
