𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐢 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
Neeti drives away in anger. Rajeev’s cousin watches her and asks Rajeev if she is the girl he has been talking about. Rajeev says he thought Baba Ji was answering his prayers, but maybe God has other plans for him. Parineet looks back at Rajeev before Neeti pulls her away.
At home, Neeti storms into the house. Parineet tries to calm her down and asks her to listen, but Neeti doesn’t want to hear anything. While trying to close the door, she accidentally hurts Parineet’s hand. She stops her mother from intervening and pulls Parineet inside. Neeti is upset with her mother too and accuses her of trying to get rid of her. Then she turns to Parineet and asks if she is okay. Parineet replies that she is now, since Neeti is finally talking to her. Neeti scolds her for being foolish and sacrificing her happiness for others. She tells her that everyone, including Neeti, warned her not to marry Rakesh. Yet, she still jumped into this disaster. Neeti says she doesn’t want to get married anytime soon and wants to pursue her dreams. But now, because of Parineet’s actions, even Bau Ji is trying to get Neeti married.
Parineet tries to explain that their parents only want the best for them. She warns that they might end up with someone like Rakesh if they don’t listen. Neeti doesn’t care and shouts. Parineet then suggests she find someone who supports her dreams—a smart, modern guy from a big city. Neeti thinks of Rajeev, while Parineet imagines Vikram. Then Parineet adds that maybe she could find a guy in their town who plans to settle in a big city. Neeti laughs and says she likes the first idea better—a guy from the city who helps her fulfill her dreams. She’s impressed by how smart Parineet has become.
Meanwhile, Rajeev returns home. His mother asks if he found the girl he was talking about. He shakes his head. She says it’s because he is destined to marry Parineet. She insists they go to her house in the morning to fix the alliance. Rajeev nods quietly.
The next morning, Kavita arrives at Parineet’s house and greets her mother. She says that the groom’s family really likes Parineet. Mandeep overhears this and feels angry. She tells Parineet’s mother to bring tea for Kavita and then storms into the kitchen. While fuming, she sees the groom’s photo and realizes her suspicions were right. She assumes that Parineet and her mother arranged this alliance secretly. Now the pressure will fall on Veer Ji, and once the alliance is fixed, they will lose their say in the house. She decides to ruin things.
Parineet, on the other hand, picks up her dupatta and thinks about her encounters with Rajeev. She wonders if Waheguru keeps sending him in her path for a reason. Is he her destiny?
Kavita asks Mandeep if she likes the guy. Mandeep lies and says this alliance was proposed before too, but Jaswant didn’t like it. He was furious and rejected both the guy and his family. She warns Kavita not to show the photo again or else Jaswant might lose his temper. Kavita thanks her for the advice.
Just then, Jaswant enters with Harman. Kavita greets them, and Harman excuses himself. Kavita quickly hides Rajeev’s photo and hands over other profiles to Jaswant. When Jaswant sees the photo pile, he asks about the photo she kept aside. Kavita lies and says that boy’s alliance was fixed yesterday. Jaswant, Beeji, and Parineet’s mother look at the profiles. Jaswant picks one and asks Harman’s opinion. Harman tells him to go ahead if he likes the boy. Mandeep fumes as always.
At Rajeev’s house, he stands by the window and thinks about last night. The breeze blows the curtain. His cousin comes in and asks what’s bothering him. Rajeev says he is just stressed. His cousin teases him and says he is upset because of his dream girl. Rajeev says he doesn’t know why he cares for her so much. She keeps getting into trouble, and he just ends up helping her. Rajeev’s sister enters and informs him that Kavita is here. Rajeev tells his cousin to come downstairs too, but he refuses, saying he’s happily single.
Rajeev’s mother is upset after hearing that Jaswant rejected Rajeev’s alliance. She didn’t expect this. Rajeev enters and asks what’s wrong. His mother shares that the alliance was rejected. Rajeev tells her to let it go. There are many girls out there. His mother continues to complain. Kavita says they rejected the proposal because they like someone else. Rajeev’s mother scolds him for studying architecture. He asks what that has to do with anything, and she gives an unrelated response. Rajeev thanks God that now he is free to find his own love. His mother then insists Kavita fix his alliance with the other girl she had shown earlier. Rajeev tries to stop her, but she won’t listen.
Kavita shows Neeti’s photo to Rajeev’s mother. Rajeev’s cousin says that his aunt is really upset over a small rejection. Rajeev’s sister says their brother is a great guy and deserves someone good.
At Parineet’s house, Jaswant tells her that he has picked a boy for her. His family is coming to meet her today. He shows her the photo. Parineet smiles and says she trusts his choice. He tells her to get ready. Parineet quickly calls Neeti and asks her to come over. A boy’s family is coming to see her and she will feel more comfortable if Neeti is with her. But Neeti says she can’t come—someone is coming to see her too! She ends the call. Parineet is stunned.
She runs to Vikram and tells him that she had no idea things would move so fast. Neeti had told her earlier she didn’t want to get married. But now a guy’s family is coming to see her today. Parineet says she gave Neeti some suggestions for the kind of guy she should choose. Vikram tells her not to worry—Neeti will find a way to delay the wedding if she isn’t ready. That comforts Parineet.
At Neeti’s house, Rajeev arrives with his family. Neeti’s mother calls her to come out and be polite. Neeti is hesitant. Her mother helps her get ready and says that if she had been this stubborn, Neeti wouldn’t have been born. She urges Neeti to meet the guy.
Rajeev’s mother looks at him and smiles. Neeti tells her mother that she won’t say yes unless Parineet approves of the guy. Her mother agrees but makes her promise that she won’t back out later.
At Parineet’s house, she keeps thinking about Rajeev. She wishes she knew his name or where he lives. Meanwhile, Vishal takes a photo of Rajeev and sends it to Parineet and Vikram, as Neeti wants her friend’s approval. Parineet doesn’t check her phone. Vikram sees the message and replies that he’s busy. He adds that the guy looks smart though. Parineet assumes it’s a message from a loan company. Just as she’s about to check it, her mother calls her away.
