In Islam, the basic principle is that children are a gift from Allah, and their gender is part of His divine will. Allah says:

โ€œTo Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earthโ€ฆ
He grants to whom He wills female children, and He grants to whom He wills malesโ€ (Qurโ€™an 42:49โ€“50).

Because of this, choosing a childโ€™s gender purely out of preference (e.g., wanting only a boy or only a girl) is generally discouraged or not permissible, as it can reflect dissatisfaction with Allahโ€™s decree and may resemble unjust cultural preferences.

However, many contemporary scholars have allowed limited gender selection in IVF for valid medical reasons, such as avoiding serious genetic diseases linked to a specific gender. This is done under strict conditions: the s***m and egg must be from the married couple only, no third party involvement, and the procedure should be conducted with modesty and necessity.

Outside of such medical needs, it is better to trust Allahโ€™s wisdom and accept whatever He blesses, knowing that true barakah lies in contentment with His decision.

O Allah, grant us righteous offspring and make us content with Your beautiful decree. Ameen ๐Ÿคฒ

Loosing virginity before marriage has become kind of common. No I'm not talking about r**e. That's totally a different topic. By this topic I mean girl and boy both of them willing to have haram s*x. Astaghfirullah

After the haram s*x most of the time the girl and boy act very innocent. They'll be like 'you know I didn't mean to do it but it just happened'.

Seriously? It just happened? Whom are trying to fool? It's obvious that you know what you were doing. It's not like you were unconscious and it all happened cuz of some sort of magic.

The truth this that you couldn't control your desire. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Said: โ€œNo man is alone with a woman but the Shaytan is the third one present.โ€ You should be aware of it.

Just imagine your husband/wife had s*x with other person. How would you feel? Doesn't it hurt? If yes then how could you do the same thing? How could you cheat your future husband/wife? Are you that heartless? Don't you fear Allah SWT?

It's too late I already had haram s*x. What should I do? Regret and repent to Allah SWT before it's too late. Before the punishment comes to you. And don't do it again!

Note: Before marriage relationship is called Zina. Itโ€™s haram prohibited in Islam. A real man will offer you (halal) marriage Nikkah, A loser will offer you (haram) Zina. Don't be so stupid to choose a loser. Remember Allah SWT Always watching at you!

May Allah SWT forgive us, guide us and protect us from doing major and minor sins. Ameen ๐Ÿคฒ

๐Ÿ‘‚ Earwax Isn't Dirt โ€” It's Protection

Many people see earwax as something that should be removed immediately.

But science tells a different story.

Earwax is part of the body's natural defense system.

It helps trap dust, dirt, and tiny particles before they can travel deeper into the ear. It also contains natural substances that help slow the growth of certain bacteria and fungi.

Even more remarkable, earwax helps keep the ear canal moisturized and protected from irritation.

What may seem like a nuisance is actually one of the many ways Allah protects the human body without us even noticing.

SubhanAllah...

-Protection.
-Cleaning.
-Defense.

All built into a small substance most people never think about.

"So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?"

โ€” Surah Ar-Rahman

Where faith meets the human body.

One of the most frequently quoted verses at Muslim weddings is:

โ€œAnd among His signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves so that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed, in that are signs for people who reflect.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 30:21)

What is often overlooked is the context in which this verse appears.

The verse immediately before it says:

โ€œAnd among His signs is that He created you from dust; then suddenly you were human beings dispersing throughout the earth.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 30:20)

And the verse immediately after it says:

โ€œAnd among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colours. Indeed, in that are signs for people of knowledge.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 30:22)

As Shaykh Omar Suleiman beautifully points out, the verse about marriage is placed between verses that highlight our common human origin and celebrate the diversity of languages and colours. The sequence reflects a profound divine wisdom: human diversity is not a barrier, but one of Allahโ€™s signs.

Interestingly, the only marriage process described in detail in the Qurโ€™an is that of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) and one of the daughters of the righteous elder in Madyan (Qurโ€™an 28:22โ€“28). This was an inter-cultural marriage: Musa (peace be upon him) was from Banu Israโ€™il, while the people of Madyan were from a different community.

Another remarkable detail is that it was the young woman who first recognized Musaโ€™s character and suggested him to her father:

โ€œO my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and trustworthy.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 28:26)

As Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan notes in his lecture

โ€œThe Jahiliyyah of Matrimonials,โ€ many of the assumptions we consider โ€œtraditionalโ€ today are not necessarily rooted in the Qurโ€™an itself.

The Qurโ€™anic narrative invites us to focus on character, faith, and righteousness rather than cultural expectations or ethnic boundaries.

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief.
I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness.
I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness.
I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt
and from the overpowering of men."
(Sahih Bukhari 6369)

This dua addresses 8 specific things. Let's break them down.

HAMM (Worry about the FUTURE):
The knot in your chest about what might happen.
The "what if" that keeps you up.

HUZN (Grief about the PAST):
The pain about what already happened.
What you lost. What you can't undo.

These two cover ALL anxiety: past and future.
The present is fine when you're freed from
worry about tomorrow and grief about yesterday.

AL-'AJZ (Incapacity):
The feeling that you genuinely cannot do
what you need to do. Overwhelmed.

AL-KASAL (Laziness):
The CAN but WON'T. The procrastination.
The avoidance of what you know you should do.

Two forms of not doing: Can't and Won't.
Both are covered.

AL-JUBN (Cowardice):
Fear of taking the necessary action. The truth
you need to speak but won't. The step you need
to take but can't make yourself.

AL-BUKHL (Miserliness):
Withholding what you should give. Whether that's
money, time, affection, knowledge, help.
The closed hand when it should be open.

GHALABAT AL-DAYN (Being overcome by debt):
Debt that controls your life. Financial stress
that makes you feel trapped.

QAHR AL-RIJAL (Being overpowered by men):
Being at the mercy of others. In a position
where people have power over your life and
use it against you.

WHY THESE 8 SPECIFICALLY?

These 8 cover every category of human suffering:

Emotional (worry, grief)
Practical (incapacity, laziness)
Moral (cowardice, miserliness)
Circumstantial (debt, oppression)

The Prophet ๏ทบ didn't just give a general "protect me
from bad things." He gave a comprehensive inventory
of the specific human conditions that trap people
and asked Allah for refuge from each one.

This is a DAILY dua. Not for emergencies.
The Prophet ๏ทบ made this dua regularly.
Because anxiety, grief, and the other 6 conditions
are regular parts of human experience.

HOW TO USE IT:

Say it in the morning before leaving home.
Say it when you feel any of the 8 conditions activating.
Say it slowly - naming each thing as you ask for refuge.

And when you say "I seek refuge in You from anxiety" -
mean it. See the anxiety. Name it. Ask for protection from it.

The dua works best when you're saying it consciously,
not reciting it automatically.

COMMENT which of the 8 you need most today
(just the number - 1 through ๐Ÿ˜Ž!

TAG someone who is clearly carrying anxiety,
grief, or any of the 8 conditions right now!

SAVE this as your morning dua starting tomorrow!

One of Shaytanโ€™s greatest tactics is hidden in plain sight.

Allah tells us in the Qurโ€™an that after being cast out, Shaytan openly declared his strategy:

โ€œBecause You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your Straight Path. Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them grateful.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 7:16โ€“17)

Notice what Shaytan did not claim.

He did not say he could control your provision (rizq).
He did not say he could alter your decree (qadr).
He did not say he could force you to abandon faith.

Allah has already set limits on his power:
โ€œIndeed, My servantsโ€”no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 15:42)

So what can Shaytan do?

He whispers.
He deceives.
He creates doubt, fear, and false perceptions.

Allah says:
โ€œIt is only Shaytan who frightens his supporters. So do not fear them; fear Me, if you are believers.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 3:175)

Many times, the battle is not over what is actually happeningโ€”itโ€™s over what Shaytan wants you to believe is happening.

He wants you to fear that your rizq is running out.
He wants you to worry that your future is doomed.
He wants you to despair of Allahโ€™s mercy.
He wants you to live as though everything is slipping away, even when Allahโ€™s protection surrounds you.

The Prophet ๏ทบ taught us that Shaytan comes to the believer with whispers and doubts, seeking to disturb the heart and weaken certainty. Yet he also taught us the remedy: seek refuge in Allah, remember Him often, and place your trust in Him.

โ€œAnd if an evil suggestion comes to you from Shaytan, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.โ€
(Qurโ€™an 7:200)

When fear appears without a clear cause, when worries multiply in the quiet hours of the night, remember:

Shaytan cannot rewrite Allahโ€™s decree.
He cannot steal what Allah has written for you.
He cannot prevent Allahโ€™s mercy from reaching you.

But he will try to make you live as though all three are at risk.

The antidote is yaqin (certainty), tawakkul (trust in Allah), and constant remembrance of Him.
