After what was a fabulous day here in Kerry rain is forecast to return in the morning.

A band of rain/heavy showers is forecast to push in from the west and move across the country tomorrow!

In 24 hours over 30mm is forecast in parts of the west which could bring the risk of flooding!

⛈️⚡️ Thunderstorm and Flooding Risk on Saturday!

Warm air is forecast to push up with a low pressure system tomorrow.

This low pressure system will push past Ireland to the North West but rain is forecast early Saturday.

With this rain there is a good deal of instability which will bring the risk of thunderstorms and torrential rain.

Rain will push in from the west and move South East. Totals in the west of 40mm are forecast in 24 hours.

The main risk of thunderstorm activity looks set for the west and especially the south west early Saturday and into the afternoon, but it could change yet!
