When my husband took this photo, the intention was to figure out a good angle that we could come back and take a proper shot.

It was the end of a long day. I was tired but offered to help him out as long as I didn't have to pose.😂

When I looked at the photo, I was stunned at how it depicted what I've been going through the past few weeks.

God has been nudging me to step out into the unknown. A familiar but unfamiliar place (best way I can describe it even if if doesn't make sense). He's calling me into continuous obedience and trust in Him.

It's scary. But after seeing the fruit of obedience and letting Him lead me, I'm not afraid. I'm willing to step into the unknown, the unfamiliar because He is in control and won't forsake me.

We need to remember that the Holy Spirit who lives within us is the giver of all knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. May we never forget the gift of the Bible.

It’s important that we know the Word for ourselves so that we are not easily deceived, since we are anchored in God’s truth.

Today, I'm grateful for hope. Hope that one day, the trials and tribulations I face in this present life, will come to an end. And that hope is found in Jesus alone.🙏🏾

Worldly or selfish ambition focuses on what you can get. It’s about your wants, not your needs; your own success, not the success of others; and what you can gain, not what you can give.

However, Godly ambition is focused on God and fulfilling His will. It’s about positioning your heart and mind on Him, ready and willing to move forward as He leads. It’s a redefining success—not based on how much you do or get, but rather on the opportunities to love and serve others and glorify God in the process.

What does freedom in Christ mean?

When Jesus said, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” in John 8:36, He was not setting us free to do whatever we wanted. He was freeing us to do what we ought to do. He was liberating us to walk in relationship with God and to be the kind of people He created us to be.

I first met at the church my husband used to serve in years back. D**o has a love for God and people that is admirable.

D**o and his wife Emma are going through a tough season with their little one DJ and they need our help. I believe "Haba na haba, hujaza kibaba" so whatever little contribution you may have will go a long way in supporting DJ's treatment.
