In our SME media class, we're now learning the power of storytelling. We believe no one can tell our story better than we can. When we share our experiences, dreams, and challenges in our own words, we show the world who we really are — not just how others see us.

This is more than media training — it's about owning our voice and shaping our future. We are the storytellers of our community.

We are pleased to share that the Cohort 3 Media Class is progressing well as we complete the second week of training. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by the youth participants have been truly inspiring.
This program continues to highlight the power of storytelling as a tool for change. We deeply appreciate the support of our partners and the trust they place in our mission. Together, we believe that story matters-it has the potential to empower young people and influence positive behavior in our communities.

We look forward to the coming weeks as we nurture creativity, build skills, and inspire impact through media.

Among the shining stars was one of our very own – a talented young mechanic whose passion for fixing engines and building machines reminds us that every child deserves the right to explore, learn, and grow in their unique talents.
His hands may be small, but his ideas are big — and his story is a powerful example of the progress we've made in supporting children's rights to education, skills development, and creativity.

As we honor this important day, we continue to plan and work for a future where every African child is seen, heard, and given the space to thrive.

Community Talk: Sharing Stories, Building Solidarity
As part of the World Refugee Day preparations, we held a powerful Community Talk event that brought together diverse communities to share their stories, experiences, and hopes. Under this year’s theme, “Solidarity with Refugees: Honouring Refugee Stories, Upholding Their Rights,” the event created a safe space for dialogue, connection, and understanding.

Refugees took the lead, voicing real issues and inspiring change through their lived experiences. The well-organized gathering reminded us of the strength found in unity, and the importance of listening and standing in solidarity.

Together, we honour their stories -together, we uphold their rights.

Today, we had the privilege to join Story Matters Entertainment UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR Africa VSO Youth Volunteering FilmAid Kenya Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion drs and anther partners in showcasing powerful refugee stories through the arts, celebrating the strength and resilience of displaced communities. This event was made possible through collaboration with partners who continue to support and stand with refugees.
Join us tomorrow for a Community Talk at Turkana Cafeteria, 3:00 PM, where we will continue to share and listen to the real stories that matter.

From a Tournament to a Dream: under 12 Football Academy
