How Much Do You Make From YouTube?
YouTube uses CPM (cost per mille) which is about $7.6, so for every 1,000 views, you will earn $7.6 (Kes 700) for every 1, 000 views.
But before getting paid, you need to have achieved the payment threshold of a minimum of $70 (some sources say itโs $100) to get your cash. This means your channel has to have over 10, 000 views before you make your first coin from YouTube.
And before your channel is considered money-worthy, you need a minimum of 1, 000 subscribers and at least 4000 watch hours. 4, 000 watch hours loosely translates to approximately 80, 000 views. In general before you start making real money from YouTube, you need at least 1, 000 subs and 100, 000 views.
How Do You Withdraw Money From YouTube?
1. Open an Adsense account through your Youtube account (this should be the first step once you meet the monetization qualifications...)
2. Add your bank account to your Adsense account.
3. Get your address verified. This takes almost 6 weeks. You will have to generate a code which will be delivered to you via post.
4. Payment is done on the 21st day of every month.
In a nutshell, hereโs how it all works:
1. You post content on YouTube.
2. Advertisers, through AdSense place ads on your channel.
3. When someone clicks an ad or watches for 30 seconds on your channel, advertisers then pay AdSenseโฆ
