Rest In Peace Uncle Sam 💔

Update..

A shooting incident occurred on September 14, 2025, around 2300 hours, in Kajiado County. Samuel Mutua Mulwa (alias Uncle Sam), a 56-year-old driver, was shot by a police officer, APC Alfred Awasi, while trying to fix his matatu (KCF 089 M) near Kathasyo area. The officer, who was on patrol duty in a Probox vehicle (KDE 991Y), allegedly opened fire without reason, hitting the driver.

The victim was rushed to Makindu Sub-County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The police processed the scene, finding gunshot injuries on the victim's body and bullet holes in the matatu. The officer's rifle (Galile ACE 52 L) was recovered with 17 rounds, and 8 rounds are suspected to have been spent. The case is being handled by the DCI Mashuru, and further investigation is ongoing.

Sometimes, the universe reminds us to pause, look up, and marvel at its beauty. Tonight is one of those nights when it will be showing off.

At exactly 8:30pm, the Blood Moon will rise, casting a deep crimson glow across the night sky. For those watching from Nairobi, the peak moment will come at 9:11pm, before slowly fading away at 9:52pm

Planet Saturn will also be sharing the stage with the moon, creating a rare cosmic pairing.
