DOOLOW NEWS: COMMANDER SHUB’S RESIDENCE TARGETED IN LAST NIGHT’S AIRSTRIKE

Photos from the residence of Commander Shub, which was targeted in an airstrike last night in Doolow District, show damage caused by the attack.

A loud and heavy blast was reportedly heard in parts of the border areas of neighboring countries, Kenya and Ethiopia, particularly in areas close to the Somali border.

Preliminary reports indicate that the airstrike resulted in deaths and injuries. Commander Shub is reportedly believed to have sustained minor injuries. Sources familiar with the incident also report that the commander was taken to a secure location following the attack.

At least three people were killed in an attack carried out last night by armed bandits suspected to be Pokot, in Lokwar, Kaputir Ward.

The attack occurred at around 1:00 a.m., with preliminary reports indicating that the attackers also drove away livestock.

Security authorities are assessing the situation as further details about the incident continue to emerge.

President William Ruto today presided over the passing-out parade and swearing-in ceremony of newly recruited police officers at the Kiganjo Police Training College in Nyeri County.

Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury, John Mbadi, today, Tuesday, held a meeting with the Council of Governors, led by its Chairperson, H.E Ahmed Abdullahi EGH

The meeting focused on the rollout of the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system across all 47 counties. CS Mbadi directed that the full integration of e-GP with IFMIS be completed by the end of September 2026.

The system is expected to enhance transparency, accountability, efficiency, and value for money in government procurement.
