There's a difference between being gifted, and being blessed. Jacob was blessed, Esau was gifted. Abraham was blessed and gifted. being blessed is being given a name, and a destiny. it's to be given a purpose. God told Jeremiah, for I know the plans I have for you. To give you a name and hope.. The devil told Jesus, I have been gifted all these, and I can give them to whoever I want.. So being wealthy isn't necessarily being blessed. If you lack the hope for the life after these world, you are just gifted with only what satisfies the flesh. It's better to seek a name and a purpose, by trusting in Jesus Christ as the saviour and hope for the life after the flesh. For even if one gets the whole world, and loses his sole has definitely lost it all. Jesus is not only the way, but also the truth and light for the life beyond the skies.
