Barach Arnold Departs Apuk Lith, Joins Twic Mayardit Ahead of BCPT

Warrap State – August 2, 2025
Apuk Lith defender Barach Muor, popularly known as Arnold, has confirmed his departure from the team ahead of the upcoming Bahr El Ghazal Counties’ Peace Tournament (BCPT). The towering left-back will now represent his home county, Twic Mayardit.

Arnold formally notified Apuk Lith Football Team President, Deng Awar Mariak, of his decision shortly before the conclusion of the Warrap State Peace Tournament. In his message, he thanked the club and its supporters for their unwavering support throughout his time with “The Hawk.”

President Deng Awar commended Arnold’s dedication over the past two seasons, describing him as a cornerstone of the team’s defensive unit. He further assured the player of a proper farewell in recognition of his service.

Arnold’s move is seen as a significant boost to Twic Mayardit’s squad as they gear up for the regional showdown.
