Today we met strength, woven in color.

At the Ethel Foundation for the Aged, we spent the day filming a group of remarkable women whose hands tell stories of resilience, hope, and quiet power.
Each thread they wove wasn’t just for a basket — it was a symbol of independence, of purpose, of dignity restored.

Through the Inua Wazee Weaving Project, these women are redefining what aging looks like — turning skill into livelihood and community into healing.

We left inspired by their laughter, their focus, and the warmth that filled the room.
Age may have lined their faces, but their spirits are still creating beauty — one weave at a time.

Today, we visited Tuinuke na Tuendelee Women Group in Saika, a powerful movement founded in 2005 by five positive mothers from Korogocho who turned their stories into strength. 💪

From storytelling on positive living, guiding through positive parenting, nurturing the Young Mamas Club and Kids Club, to economic empowerment through beautiful handmade bags and beadwork — their impact is truly inspiring. 💖

🎶 BTS moments with the Hero’s Song reminded us that courage, hope, and unity can transform lives. 🌍

This is us.

Spent the day at our Kinangop farm, where the green, yieldful crops are a testament to the richness of our soil and the dedication of our incredible workers. A blend of modern agri-business and timeless tradition.

Here’s to honoring the hands that feed us and the land that sustains us. This is African culture and heritage in its purest form.
