KALONZO WARNS NEWLY SWORN-IN IEBC AGAINST ELECTORAL INTERFERENCE

Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has issued a stern warning to the newly sworn-in Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), describing it as a "handpicked Ruto commission" and cautioning its members against any attempts to interfere with future electoral processes.

Speaking after the swearing-in ceremony of the new commissioners, Kalonzo did not mince his words: “To the new IEBC, please do not try Kenyans. Already, the irregularities are far too many.”

He further declared that any form of electoral manipulation would be fiercely resisted, stating, “Any attempt to tamper with the electoral process will be met with unrelenting resistance. The will of the people is not negotiable.”

Kalonzo’s remarks come amid growing public debate on the credibility and independence of the newly constituted commission.

KITETA/KISAU MCA DARIUS MAINGA VOWS TO SUPPORT EDUCATION AS HE ENGAGES KANYENYONI PARENTS ON SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT

By Evans Hinga | RADA FM

KANYENYONI, MBOONI, MAKUENI COUNTY – Kiteta/Kisau Ward MCA Hon. Darius Kioko Mainga today held a consultative meeting with parents of Kanyenyoni Primary School to discuss matters concerning the institution’s development and welfare.

During the visit, the MCA assessed the progress of an ongoing school fencing project, which he had earlier initiated to enhance security for learners and staff. The project is nearing completion and is expected to provide a safer learning environment for the pupils.

Hon. Mainga also inspected the school’s playground, whose poor condition had previously prompted a request to the Governor of Makueni for levelling and rehabilitation. He promised to follow up on the matter to ensure the learners have access to a proper playing field.

Addressing the parents, the MCA emphasized the importance of education and called on them to support learning for all children, regardless of their background. He reiterated his unwavering commitment to improving education standards in the ward.

“I will continue to prioritize education development in our communities. Let us all play our part to give our children a better future,” Mainga affirmed.

The meeting ended with renewed optimism and unity of purpose between the school administration, parents, and the ward leadership.

KALONZO MUSYOKA: YOUTHS WERE SHOT FOR EXERCISING CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS ON JUNE 25, 2024

Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has called for justice and full accountability ahead of the first anniversary of the June 25, 2024 protests, when Kenyan youth took to the streets to exercise their constitutional rights under Article 1 of the 2010 Constitution.

“What the young Kenyans did was not a crime. They stood up to petition their elected representatives—an act protected by law. But instead of being heard, they were met with bullets. They were shot, maimed, and killed by police,” Kalonzo stated.

He decried the government’s silence and the slow pace of justice, pointing out that only one inquest has been conducted so far despite the number of deaths reported. “This nation is at a crossroads. We cannot afford selective justice. Inquests must be conducted for every life lost on that day,” he emphasized.

Kalonzo paid tribute to the resilience of the youth, recalling a powerful moment when a young man stood up in church and declared: “Hawkers’ Rights are Human Rights.”

He urged the state to uphold the Constitution and protect the dignity of all citizens, reminding leaders and institutions that “the world is watching.”

“Let justice be our shield and defender—not violence. We cannot and will not forget the victims of June 25, 2024,” Kalonzo affirmed.

The opposition leader’s remarks come as civil society, religious leaders, and youth groups prepare to mark the anniversary under the rallying call .

MCSK CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua Champions Power of Gospel Music at Spirit-Charged ‘Worship in the Wilderness’ Experience

A wave of spiritual awakening swept through GCI Church Utawala during the Worship in the Wilderness Live Experience — a vibrant and deeply moving worship gathering that brought together key religious leaders, public figures, corporate partners, and celebrated gospel musicians in a unifying moment of praise, reflection, and national inspiration.

The event was graced by the CEO of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK), Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, who not only attended but actively participated in encouraging the role of gospel music in national transformation and moral rebirth.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Mutua emphasized the urgent need to restore Kenya’s values through faith-based content and gospel artistry.

"What we are witnessing here tonight is more than music. It is revival. Gospel music is not just entertainment — it is a weapon of truth, healing, and hope. If we want to fix our nation, we must begin here, in worship," said Dr. Mutua.

The event, hosted by Pastor Tumaini Akilimali, was themed around finding strength and divine direction in life’s “wilderness seasons.” It was a call to return to God in times of crisis — personally and as a nation.

Also present were Rev. Dr. Jane Mwikali Makau, Chairperson of the Betting Control and Licensing Board; Rev. Titus Katembu; Turkana First Lady Lilian Ekamaisi; Apostle David Owusu; Rev. Mburu; MCSK Chairman Ephantus Wahome; and former Chairman Bernard Mukaisi. Their presence signaled a strong institutional and interdenominational support for faith-centered initiatives in the country.

A unique corporate spiritual partnership was also seen in the participation of representatives from Dama wa Dama Mobile Spares, blending business with ministry support.
