Purity Wambui, the Gikomba businesswoman who stunned Kenyans with her revelation of paying her own dowry, is trending again after adding more details about the sacrifices she made in her failed relationship.

Purity admits to going above and beyond to make the union work.

“I was very desperate for a man and madly in love, I was very stupid ” Purity says, adding that she also bought her ex-husband a car, the wedding suit and her own wedding gown.
