“Today, while attending Wanyeri’s son’s Mpumíro ceremony at the home of the Deputy President in Mukothima Ward, hired goons allegedly linked to a Mukothima Ward aspirant and an aspirant Member of Parliament for Tharaka Constituency vandalized Mheshimiwa Marengo’s vehicle by breaking its windscreen. We strongly condemn such cowardly acts. Politics should never be expressed through violence or the destruction of property.
