TACTICAL MASTERCLASS โšฝ๏ธ

When Harambee Stars starting lineup was shared, many fans questioned coach Benny McCarthy's decision to leave out key players including his captain Aboud Omar, Austin Odhiambo, Daniel Sakari, Alpha Onyango and Alphonce Omija. This was a tactical masterclass considering Morocco had two games to study and analyse their opponents ahead of today's crucial encounter.

With the Atlas lions not playing for a whole week, this might have had an effect on them as you could see they lacked match sharpness. The players who were brought in for Kenya played to every instruction and got their assignment right. Siraj, Kibwage and Bandi were solid at the back despite being handed only their first start of the tournament today.

Normally, every coach watches his next opponent; team setup and tactical approach and I am sure not playing our regulars distabilized our opponents today, leave alone playing a man less. That was another tactical masterclass from our coach Benny McCarthy.

With one foot in the quarter finals, the boys accounts buldging and the fans behind the team, the future looks bright.
