**What If We Chose Unity Over Conflict in Kenya?**

In recent weeks, Kenya has been rocked by a series of demonstrations led by the Genz movement, with protests turning violent—burning and stealing property, and claiming the lives of many young people. These events have raised an important question: What if, instead of fighting our government and turning against each other, we chose to come together as one nation to support our leaders and build our country?

It is undeniable that many Kenyans are frustrated with the state of affairs in our country. However, violence and destruction are not the solutions. When we burn property and harm our fellow citizens, we are only losing more—losing lives, opportunities, and hope for a better future. Our youth, the future of Kenya, are paying the highest price, and that is a tragedy we must prevent.

Imagine a different path—one where all of us, regardless of our differences, unite with a common purpose: to help our government address the challenges we face. We all share the same home, Kenya, and it is the only country we have. We should remember that working together, with patience and understanding, can bring positive change more effectively than violence ever could.

It is high time for us to reflect on our actions and realize that peace and unity are our greatest strengths. We need to come together, pray for our nation, and seek wisdom and guidance to build a Kenya that is safe, prosperous, and inclusive for everyone. Let us stand as one people, for in unity, there is hope, progress, and a brighter future for all Kenyans.

Heavenly Father, once again

Thanks for bringing me to the 8th month of the year.

I’m inspired by the words of Jeremiah when he visited a potters house. JER 18:6

“Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand house of Israel.”

Mold me into something beautiful. I’m ready to be used by you because, at the end of the day you’ll make me a masterpiece.

Lord, make this th month of fulfillment, breakthroughs, and unmeasured success. Make all stagnant causes flow.

Raise me from where I’ve been hidden for long. Establish me greatly Lord.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day. Azzariah made a prayer on behalf of Israel and you listened. This evening I make a prayer on my own behalf and that of my family and my country.

Dear Father, you who brought the Israelites out of slavery intervene for me and for Kenya. Dear Father, you who raised David from a young boy to become the king of all times, come to my aid and our Gen Z.

Hold my hand this evening dear. Point out to me where you have discerned my success. Let me get hold of all what is mine. Let no one sn**ch it away.

Dear Father, inspire me into greatness. Raise me against all odds. When the economy fails shield me and let me succeed.

PRAYER FOR THE WEEK

Dear Lord,

You came through for a man who was highly possessed. The spirits had misplaced him to a point of living at the tombs.

The neighbors weren’t happy that the healing of this man cost them a great herd of swine.

In the end, when Jesus was asked to leave the neighborhood, he asked the man to go proclaim God’s deed into his life.

Dear Lord, not many who would want to pay the cost of my blessing. The neighbors chose to send Jesus away at the expense of restoring the grace of a possessed man

Today, go ahead and grant me that very expensive blessing. Even if it costs the comfort of others, go ahead and bless me.

At the end, I would like to receive the mandate similar to one you gave to this man, to go and proclaim God’s deeds.

Dear Governor Kawira mwagaza (meru finest)and esteemed staff,

As we bid farewell to the year 2023 I wanted to take a moment to send you heartfelt wishes for a joyous and prosperous New Year(2024). It is with gratitude and reverence that I reflect upon your dedication to serving our community and leading us through various challenges with unwavering resolve.

In this new chapter, let us find solace in the timeless wisdom of the Bible. As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." May this verse encourage you and guide you in making sound decisions for the betterment of our state.

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we embark upon this new year, we seek Your divine guidance for our Governor and her devoted staff. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and unwavering strength as they navigate through the challenges that lie ahead. Illuminate their minds with creative solutions and bless them with compassion and understanding towards those they serve.

May the Governor's leadership be marked by fairness, justice, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting the welfare of all our citizens. We pray that unity and harmony prevail among them, allowing for effective collaboration and cooperative efforts to bring about positive change in our state.

Dear God,

Today, our hearts overflow with a sense of gratitude and thankfulness as we witness the dawn of unity in Meru County. We come before You to express our deepest appreciation for the remarkable endeavor that is about to unfold between our esteemed governor, MCA's, and other leaders.

We humbly acknowledge the presence of obstacles and divisions that have hindered progress for far too long. However, today we stand in awe of Your magnificent power to transcend human differences and unite us in a shared vision for our beloved county.

We are grateful for the awakening of hearts, the laying down of egos, and the willingness to put aside personal agendas for the greater good of our community. It is only through Your divine intervention that such unity can come to fruition.
