Ecclesiastes 9:4

"Better a living dog than a dead lion,"

The "living dog": represents someone alive, no matter how humble their status, who still has hope and the capacity for joy, action, and future possibilities.

The "dead lion": symbolizes something or someone that once held great power, status, or strength (like a lion in ancient Near Eastern culture) but, now dead, has no more dignity or potential.

The overall message is that life, with all its potential, is more valuable than a prestigious but lifeless state. SHALOM.
