He hated his mugshot so much that he actually sent police a better selfie.

In 2016, Donald “Chip” Pugh was wanted in Ohio after failing to appear in court on a DUI charge. When police posted his mugshot on Facebook, Pugh apparently had one major complaint: he thought the photo made him look terrible.

So he texted police a new picture of himself wearing sunglasses inside a car, along with the message: “Here is a better photo. The other one is terrible.”

Police responded by posting the selfie online and sarcastically thanking him for providing an improved photo. The exchange quickly went viral, turning an ordinary wanted notice into an internet sensation.

Unfortunately for Pugh, the extra publicity did not help him stay hidden. He was later arrested in Florida.

He may have upgraded his wanted photo, but he also gave police a much more recent picture to work with.
