We have successfully concluded our two-day Digital Rights and Safety Training. It has been an enriching experience, with participants gaining valuable insights from experts at Paradigm Initiative and Defenders Coalition.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Paradigm Initiative for their unwavering support in facilitating this training. Their commitment to promoting digital rights and inclusion across Africa has been instrumental in enhancing our members' understanding of online safety and digital advocacy.

Our members are now better equipped to navigate the digital landscape, advocate for human rights, and protect themselves and their communities online. We look forward to applying these learnings in our ongoing efforts to promote digital safety and rights.

Paradigm Initiative and the Mombasa Press Club are hosting the Digital Rights Academy in Mombasa, Kenya.
Over the next two days, journalists from the region are sharpening their skills in investigative reporting on digital rights, strengthening digital awareness practices, and connecting with fellow reporters to build strategic media networks for stronger coverage.

Together, we are building a powerful community of journalists defending digital rights in the region.

Today, we were delighted to host the production team from Chams media, an independent production company owned ɓy media personality Alex Chamwada. The team received by the club Chairman Omar Abdallah and Deputy Organising Secretary Charles Ogalo also visited the Mombasa media hub production studio. The visit was mainly for experience sharing and familiarisation.
