Drama in Ngariama Blue Valley in Embu as tenants demand the eviction of a young man identified as Karish over claims of bringing different women to his bedsitter daily.
According to residents, the man who reportedly works online from home is said to host up to three different ladies in a single day, something that has caused tension within the apartment block.
Neighbours, especially some married women, claim his actions are giving the plot a bad reputation and creating discomfort among families living there.
" Wasichana wanashinda kupiga nduru Kwa hio nyumba , hatutaki!" One lady lamented
Last evening, a meeting attended by 36 tenants together with the landlord was convened to discuss his possible eviction. Karish reportedly declined to attend the meeting.
However, a section of younger male tenants argued that it would be unfair to evict him, saying personal lifestyle choices should not be grounds for removal unless there is proven disturbance, insecurity, or violation of tenancy rules.
The matter remains unresolved as tenants remain sharply divided..
