Situations is a gripping, emotional short film that explores love, trust, and the chaos of miscommunication.

As STANO rushes to make it to a long-awaited dinner date with his girlfriend SHEE, an unexpected twist lands him behind bars — and his phone dies, cutting off all contact. Left waiting and confused at the restaurant, SHEE’s worry turns to frustration.

The next day, determined to confront him, she visits his house — only to find another girl there. Is it betrayal or just another misunderstood situation? In a world full of assumptions and half-truths, this story reveals how one moment can change everything.

Screening our films within the local community goes beyond storytelling — it’s about creating a shared sense of belonging, where people see their lives, struggles, dreams, and triumphs reflected on screen. It’s a powerful way to amplify voices that are often unheard, spark meaningful dialogue, and celebrate identity.

These screenings also open doors for emerging creatives to showcase their work, connect with their audience, and gain recognition right at home.

As part of the I Am That Woman campaign in Narok, we visited Mission with a Vision, a powerful rescue centre protecting girls from FGM and early marriage. Here, survivors receive education, life skills, and hope with the goal of reconciling them with their families and returning empowered, valuable girls to the community. 💜👧🏽📚

Our journey to Narok and the Maasai Mara for the I Am That Woman campaign by was deeply impactful. We stood in solidarity with Maasai women and girls in the fight against FGM and early forced marriage—amplifying their voices, their resilience, and their right to choose. Alongside advocacy, we immersed ourselves in the rich heritage of the Maa community, learning, connecting, and sharing in the beauty of their culture. 💜🛡️
