The Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikirr, Hon. Johana Ng’eno, has come under intense scrutiny following serious allegations of embezzling over Ksh 52 million that was reportedly collected to support women’s empowerment initiatives within his constituency. The funds, which were meant to uplift women through various economic and social programs, have allegedly vanished without a trace, leaving many beneficiaries disillusioned and outraged. Despite repeated demands and public outcry from the affected women’s groups, no satisfactory explanation or restitution has been provided, fueling suspicions of financial misconduct and deepening mistrust in local leadership. The situation has sparked widespread concern among constituents, civil society organizations, and watchdog groups, who are now calling for a thorough investigation and accountability from the relevant authorities. As pressure mounts, the scandal threatens to tarnish the MP’s reputation and raises broader questions about transparency and governance in the management of funds intended for vulnerable groups.

Latest Senate Performance Polls: A Wake-Up Call for Bomet

According to the latest Senate performance rankings released by Info Polls Africa, Kericho Senator Hon. Aaron Cheruiyot has emerged as the top-performing senator in the country, scoring an impressive 76.7%. He is closely followed by Homa Bay Senator Hon. Moses Kajwang’, who garnered 74.5%, reflecting consistent dedication to legislative duty and public service.

However, at the bottom of the rankings is Bomet Senator, who scored a concerning 24.0%. This stark contrast is not just statistical—it’s a signal. The people of Bomet deserve active, visible, and accountable representation. The Senator must urgently pull up his socks, reconnect with the electorate, and demonstrate tangible leadership that matches the region’s aspirations.

Performance is not a privilege—it’s a promise. And promises must be fulfilled.

Kericho Governor Summoned Over Corruption Allegations

Kericho Governor Dr. Erick Mutai has been formally summoned by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to appear at its Nakuru regional headquarters for questioning regarding multiple corruption allegations currently under investigation in Kericho County.

The summons comes in the wake of mounting concerns over financial mismanagement and procurement irregularities that have plagued the county administration. Among the key cases under scrutiny are:

Sh85 Million Paid for Undelivered Services: Contractors allegedly received advance payments for goods and services that were never rendered, raising serious questions about accountability and oversight.

Sh80 Million in Fictitious Payments: At least 35 companies reportedly received irregular payments without following procurement procedures, with no evidence of goods or services delivered. The allegations were flagged by Deputy Governor Fred Kirui.

Pending Bills Exceeding Sh1.1 Billion: Despite the advance payments, the county continues to carry a heavy backlog of unpaid bills, suggesting systemic financial mismanagement.

These investigations follow two separate impeachment attempts against Governor Mutai, both of which were dismissed by the Senate due to procedural and evidentiary concerns.

The EACC’s intervention signals a renewed push for transparency and justice. As the process unfolds, the people of Kericho—and the nation at large—await answers and accountability.

Statement on the Politicization of Governor Barchok’s Arrest

We are privy to credible information indicating that Senator Hillary Sigei has actively financed media coverage to amplify the arrest of Governor Hillary Barchok. This orchestrated spectacle, dressed as a pursuit of justice, reeks of political opportunism.

It is not lost on us that just last week, Senator Sigei stood firmly against the impeachment of the Kericho Governor—his own clansman—despite glaring allegations of corruption. Today, he prays fervently for the arrest and prosecution of Governor Barchok, not out of principle, but out of ambition. His goal is clear: to eliminate Barchok from the 2027 Senate race and clear his own path to power.

This is not leadership. It is cowardice masquerading as conviction.

We call on the people of Bomet and beyond to see through this charade. Justice must be blind—not bought. Let investigations proceed without political interference, and let the truth speak louder than paid headlines.

As the political tides begin to shift and the alignments of 2032 take shape, one name echoes across platforms, counties, and conversations: Senator Aaron Cheruiyot. The Kericho Senator and Senate Majority Leader has emerged not just as a legislator, but as a national symbol of energy, unity, and the hustler’s hope.

Gifted with eloquence and driven by purpose, Aaron has traversed the country with unwavering zeal, championing the Kenya kwanza BETA agenda. His message has reached the furthest corners of our republic, resonating with ordinary citizens and regional leaders alike. In forging friendships across diverse political landscapes, he has become more than a local champion,he is a face of national cohesion.

As the succession winds gather strength, Aaron stands poised not merely as a contender for Deputy President, but as a future steward of the nation. His record, his reach, and his resolve speak volumes.

And now, as in the days of Moses when Aaron and Hur held up his hands during battle with the Amalekites, we, the Kipsigis community, must rise to our moment. Let us hold up Aaron’s hands not with blind loyalty, but with strategic solidarity. Let us support him with wisdom, unity, and unwavering resolve as we aim for the prize of 2032.

This is not just about one man. It is about a movement. It is about a generation. It is about the promise of leadership that uplifts, unites, and delivers.
