Hon.Falhada Dekow Iman,Mp EALA,from her days as a nominated Senator to her current role as an EALA MP, has done so much for the people of Masalani and Garissa at large.

Not everything a person does should be dismissed as PR. Hon. Falhadha is free from PR gimmicks. She has visited many girls’ schools, empowering them, and she quietly pays school fees for needy students without seeking publicity.

Those who try to belittle her or call her names should know this, Falhadha has never shown interest in elective seats, yet her Falde Foundation continues to support women, the needy, and the youth immensely.

Garissa Youth Summit 2025 – Garissa University

Garissa County Students and Youth Association (GACOSYA) will host the Garissa Youth Summit 2025 on 10th–11th October 2025 at Garissa University under the theme “Youth in Action-driving Garissa towards sustainable future”

The forum will convene youth, innovators, institutions, and partners to connect, exchange ideas, and showcase solutions. Organizations and individuals are welcome to register as exhibitors to present their projects, products, and services.

Exhibitor registration closes on 5th October 2025.

In readiness for the forthcoming Garissa Youth Summit, the organizing committee under the leadership of Chairperson Mr. Hamza Abdi Mahat convened a fruitful consultative session with Township MP Hon Dekow M.Barrow
