My First Step into the World of Graphic Design

I’m excited to share that I’ve officially begun my journey into the world of graphic design — and what a colourful, eye-opening experience it has been so far.

Graphic design is more than just making things “look good.” It’s a powerful form of visual communication. A well-crafted design captures attention, tells a story, and connects with people emotionally — often in just seconds. That’s what makes it so visually appealing. Whether it's a logo, a poster, or a simple social media post, good design speaks louder than words.

But becoming a graphic designer from scratch isn't just about creativity. It takes:
✅ Patience to practice and refine your skills
✅ Curiosity to learn about colors, typography, layout, and tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
✅ Consistency in creating and experimenting
✅ An eye for detail — because the little things do matter
✅ A strong desire to communicate visually

I’ve come to understand that design is a skill that can be built over time. You don’t need to be born an artist — you just need the courage to begin.
This is just the beginning of my design journey, but I’m proud of the progress so far and excited to see where it leads.

To anyone thinking of starting: Begin where you are. Practice every day. Keep learning.

The story of June 25th 2024 is already written and as they say, the ink is dry. Those attempting to rewrite it will find it especially difficult because this particular piece of history is written in blood. Speaking as someone who was present in Parliament that day, the events depicted in the documentary by are not fabrications. They happened. We all saw it live and on our screens. We must encourage these stories to be told from all angles for the sake of truth and justice. Those who are uncomfortable with this are wrestling with their own consciences and we cannot help them with that. Copied
