Shame of pending bills.

The establishment of verification team by Governor Abdi Ibrahim is a step in the right direction to audit and scrutinise the shameful part of devolution(the pending bills).although it's yet to know how the verification committees conduct its business but how they will bring the clarity and fairness to the payment process is a legitimate concerns to many to settle the legitimate pending bills.
Devolution suppose to be the source of empowerment and transformation not sufferings,frustrations shameful units of governance that led to the deterioration of businesses,strained relationships with suppliers and the contractors because the ultimate consequences of pending bills are businesses shutting down,jobs are lost,poverty increases and inequality situation widens.
Let the committees formed by the governor expedite the process and provide prompt resolution for genuine outstanding debts and more importantly let them put forward a mechanism that prevents the recurrence of pending bills that is becoming a shameful gateway in isiolo county government since the beginning of devolution.
