United Nations Special Envoy for Urban Solutions, Philip Yang, presents a One-Stop-information portal dedicated to the key landmarks and decisions shaping the future of multilevel and urban climate action under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
By consolidating relevant references into a single, accessible resource aims to:
1. Enhance transparency: Provide all Parties and stakeholders with a clear, coherent narrative of the progress made to date.
2. Improve accessibility: Empower city networks, negotiators, and policymakers to easily find the information they need, saving valuable time and resources.
3. Enable action: Help national governments design more effective multilevel climate strategies, build a stronger synergy between climate action and sustainable urbanization and provide all levels of governments with clear entry points to support the UNFCCC process.
This resource is a living document and designed as a collaborative and innovative input to the preparations of Cities Day at COP30 on 11 November.
