If you're really sincere & really want complete restoration and healing in your life, then I want you to agree with me in prayer today, and I believe it's gonna start a brand-new journey in your life. "Father God, I love you! I surrender my life for You for You to heal me. I ask You for complete restoration and the redemption of all that's been lost in my life. I ask You to bring justice into my life for all the things that have hurt me. If I’ve hurt someone else, then I pray, God, that You would make that up to them and pay them back for the wrong things that I've done. Show me if there's something I can do to make it better. But i can only do it through Your strength. Father God, I want this healing, but I know that I cannot do it myself. So I ask You today to heal me completely, and I will work with You and not give up until the job is completely done. Thank You for all that You have done in my life. Thank you for what You're doing right now, and thank You for all that You will do in the future. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

What’s holding some people back is that they are only focused on their goals, their dreams, their projects. Why don’t you invest some of your time, energy, resources in someone else? Fight their giants, help their dreams come to pass, mentor their child, care for them as they come through that illness. That cause is connected to your crown. That’s what’s going to open new doors to your destiny.

Getting well takes courage. Being free will cost you something. If it were easy, everyone would do it. It’s going to cost you your excuses. No more finding reasons to justify it. It will cost you some comfort. You have to be disciplined and be willing to do the hard thing so you can see change. It may cost you some friends and getting out of limiting environments. If you’re dealing with an addiction, you can’t hang around other people who are addicted. If you do that long enough, the addiction becomes normal. “That’s just who we are. Everybody’s this way.” No, that’s because you’re in the wrong environment. If you’re always around people who are jealous, bitter, can’t pay bills, that’s going to become normal to you. You’ll lower your expectations and convince yourself that that’s who you are. You’re better than that. You are made in the image of Almighty God. He created you to rule and to reign in life. There’s a new you on the inside, ready to rise up, break free, and reach new levels. Now do your part and have the courage to leave what’s comfortable, the courage to get away from people who are enabling dysfunction and limiting your growth, the courage to have a new mindset. Get rid of the old so that the new you can show up.

So many people go around with a troubled mind, “I don’t see how this problem is going to work out.” A worried mind, “What if my company has layoffs?” A doubting mind, “I don’t think I’ll ever meet the right person.” A negative mind, “I can’t break this addiction. I’ve had it too long.” A confused mind, “I don’t know what I’m supposed to do.” What kind of mind do you have? What are you thinking about all through the day? Your life is going to follow your thoughts. The Scripture says, “Let this same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.” This is an amazing promise. You can have the same mind, the same thinking patterns as Jesus did.

At times we will all feel unqualified or intimidated. Feelings come to us all. That’s not a lack of faith; that’s normal. But here’s the key: feelings don’t tell you the truth. Feelings are fickle. They can be up one day and down the next. You have to override those feelings with what you know. The Lord is your Shepherd; you have everything you need for each season that you’re in. Now don’t verbalize your feelings; verbalize what God says about you. “I can’t raise this child; it’s too difficult.” No, “I am strong in the Lord. I am well able.” I can’t take this position; I’m not qualified.” No, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” “Joel, this sickness is too much. I can’t handle this treatment.” Turn it around, “Greater is He who is in me than what’s trying to stop me.” You have the strength, the power, the favor for every season. Not just to survive, but to thrive despite what comes against you.

Instead of focusing on what’s wrong with you, start focusing on what’s right with you. You may have weaknesses; you’ve made mistakes. We all have. But there’s a lot more right with you than there is wrong. Dwelling on the negative doesn’t help you to do better. Beating yourself up for past mistakes doesn’t move you forward. The better you feel about yourself, the better you’ll do. The more you like yourself, the further you’ll go.

The Psalmist said, “My enemies tried their best, but they could not finish me off.” You came down with a sickness. Stay encouraged. It cannot finish you off. There’s a God who’s breathing health unto you, a God who’s numbered your days. That setback in your business should stop you. You lost a main client, the pandemic hit, but it cannot finish you off. We serve Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our provider. He makes streams in the desert. He said, “Even in famine, the righteous will have more than enough.” Or that trouble with your child, looks like he’ll never get back on course. You’ve prayed, believed. It cannot finish him off. What God started in your child, He’s going to complete. As for you and your house, you will serve the Lord.

When you learn to say no, don’t be surprised if you feel guilty. “I should be helping. I should be at my neighbors. I should be working late. There are all these needs I should be focusing on.” Don’t be guilted into doing things that are keeping you out of balance. There’s nothing wrong with taking time for you. When you’re tired, you need rest. When you’re drained, you need to be replenished. I’m not saying don’t work hard. I’m all for working, achieving, being responsible. What I’m saying is that you need to stay in balance. You can’t work all the time, serve your family all the time, be strong for others all the time. Sometimes, you have to say, “Sorry, I need a break. I need a moment to recharge. There’s been a lot of withdrawals; I need to make some deposits.”

How many of us are hiding because of things we’ve gone through? We’re hiding our potential, hiding our personality, hiding our smile. You have so much to offer, but the way many people handle hurts, failures, disappointments is to isolate, to disengage. They turn off their feelings, push down any emotions, don't pursue any dreams. They show up for work, but they’re not really there. They have great ideas, but they don’t share them. They’re in the house physically with their family, but they’ve checked out emotionally. The pressure, the hurts, the mistakes have cause them to go into a defense mode, where they don’t participate. They don’t answer the phone, don’t interact with friends, don’t share their feelings. The enemy would love for you to live disengaged, unplugged, hiding your gifts, hiding your creativity, hiding your feelings. God is saying, “Where are you? I created you to bloom, to blossom, to shine, to enjoy life, to be a blessing, to love, to laugh, to accomplish.” But it will never happen if you’re hiding: hiding behind mistakes, hiding behind hurts, hiding behind injustice.

God is saying, “Did not I tell you? I will give you beauty for those ashes. Did not I tell you? Weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Did not I tell you that I will pay you back double for the unfair things that have happened?” God has you in the palm of His hand. He has not brought you this far to leave you. That loss, the breakup, yes, it’s painful, but it didn’t stop your destiny. God has a new beginning. He’s about to open new doors, bring new relationships. You haven’t seen your best days.
