🚨 Chelsea have immediately rejected Borussia Dortmund’s bid for Carney Chukwuemeka. not happy at all with loan with obligation bid described as ‘insulting’ as more clubs also approached them for a permanent transfer. The bid was a loan + £17.2m obligation + heavy sell on clause.

Chelsea are believed to be growing frustrated with Dortmund over Chukwuemeka and will only entertain permanent offers. Gap in valuation of nearly £20m, but they are willing to accept less as long as suitable add-ons and a sell-on clause are included.

🚨 Chelsea will get £9.37m of the £37.5m fee from the Omari Hutchinson sell-on clause, which is 25%. 💰

Chelsea got Hutchinson on a free transfer and sold him to Ipswich for £20m + £2.5m in add-ons. Take out the £3m Arsenal got from the 15% sell-on clause. So Chelsea overall have made almost £27m guaranteed without add-ons from a player they got for nothing. Arsenals all time record sale is £35m.

Chelsea in the last 10 years 🤯:

2015: Premier League champions and won Carabao Cup. Lose Community Shield. Sacked Mourinho.

2016: Came 10th, won Leicester the league and appointed Conte.

2017: Premier League Champions and lose FA Cup Final. John Terry leaves. Lose Community Shield. Conte texts Costa that he’s not in his plans.

2018: FA Cup winners and sacked Conte. Lose Community Shield.

2019: Fabregas leaves. Chelsea handed transfer ban. Lose Carabao Cup Final, Europa League winners and Sarri left. Hazard left as well. Lampard appointed manager. Lose Super Cup.

2020: Top 4 with a transfer ban. Lost FA Cup Final. Chelsea spend big ahead of 2020/21 season.

2021: Lampard sacked and Tuchel appointed. Chelsea join and leave Super League. COVID happened. Chelsea lose FA Cup final, win Champions League and win Super Cup.

2022: Chelsea win Club World Cup and complete football, Chelsea sanctioned and club future in doubt, Roman leaves, new ownership, Tuchel sacked, Potter appointed.

2023: Potter sacked, Bruno Saltor takes charge of a game, Lampard made interim and came 12th. Pochettino appointed. Kante and Azpilicueta leave.

2024: Come 6th and qualified for Conference League, Lose Carabao Cup final. Thiago Silva leaves. Pochettino leaves, Maresca appointed.

2025: Almost reached the 1.5 Billion £ mark on signing players since the new owners came in but sold a lot as well. Back in Champions League, Win Conference League, complete football again and win Club World Cup and complete football again. Only half way through the year.

So many ups and downs. This club is insane. Wouldn’t change it for the world.
