This showcase takes you through a powerful journey of protest photography, performance, and community writing reflecting the voices rising against femicide, TFGBV, and GBV in Kenya.

Gender based violence shows up in many ways, including physical, emotional, and digital harm. This kind of harm can become difficult to recognize when it is treated as ordinary. Acknowledging what has been overlooked or dismissed nurtures awareness and strengthens community responsibility.
This edition of Sauti Sessions was created to honor , a moment dedicated to reflection and shared action addressing all expressions of gender based violence, including harm that begins online and continues into everyday life.

Based on ’s real story of survival, this play reminds us that GBV is a societal issue. Survivors deserve support, not blame. We applaud Gathoni for her bravery in sharing her truth to spread awareness.
