Gratitude is a strange little superpower: it works even when your pockets are empty, your plans are stuck in traffic, and your prayers feel like they’re on “seen.” Thanksgiving is a mystery because it refuses to wait for evidence; it gives thanks before things change, and somehow things begin to change because of it. When you thank God in lack, you’re not pretending the problem is gone—you’re reminding your soul who is in charge. Gratitude lifts your eyes, lightens your heart, and quietly unlocks doors you didn’t even know had keys. Complaining counts what’s missing; thanksgiving counts what still works—and that shift alone can turn a mess into a message, and a delay into a setup.
We had a great Thanksgiving service at Deliverance Church International Murunyu, Nakuru.
Philippians 4:6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
