Are you passionate about politics, current affairs, and digital media? Havana Media is looking for a dynamic and confident Media Personality to join our growing team!
Key Responsibilities:
Present and host political news segments on our YouTube channel.
Commentate and provide in-depth analysis of trending political stories in Kenya and beyond.
Conduct interviews, debates, and discussions on current affairs.
Create compelling, informative, and engaging video content regularly.
Edit video content for publishing on YouTube and other social platforms.
Stay up to date with political trends and breaking news to keep content relevant and timely.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge and interest in Kenyan politics and governance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both on and off camera.
Confident, articulate, and opinionated with the ability to engage audiences.
Experience in video content creation, editing, and storytelling.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut).
Previous experience in media, journalism, or content creation is an added advantage.
Bonus Skills:
Graphic design or motion graphics experience.
Social media content planning and management.
