Futa Ni Grao is a non-governmental media Initiative looking to close the missing gap of media representation when it comes to lower leagues such as Division One. Division Two, County and Sub-County leagues

ta Ni Grao supports football development in both Rural and Urban kenya with focus on the grassroots football, and using football as a way to address social challenges such as poverty, climate change, mental health and peace/conflict resolutions. A community where upcoming footballers are not afraid to come out and exercise their soccer talents and skills with confidence and without fear of intimidation. MISSION:
Through filming, documentation and broadcast of emerging soccer talents and grassroots teams. Futa ni Grao is a platform aimed at giving grassroots teams and footballers an opportunities to scale high through unbiased media representation. Futa Ni Grao is here to show that grassroots football is the future of football in Kenya and rich in skills and talents and is one of the best ways to address poverty and social conflicts in Africa. MISSION STATEMENT: We document the challenges, journey and success of lower Football Clubs through filming, doing feature stories on the clubs and showcase individual talents from these football clubs. Official Statement.

To all our fans, we sincerely thank you for the unwavering support you have shown us throughout last season and into the new campaign.

Regarding today’s match against Gucha Stars, we wish to state that we honoured the fixture as directed by the federation. As a club, we uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship and remain committed to ensuring that football is conducted in fairness for all teams. This is the reason we chose to take to the pitch and play the match in good faith.

Unfortunately, the game was abandoned in the 85th minute after the referee cited security concerns.The center referee alleged his assistant referee's jersey was torn by Gucha fans while celebrating their second goal and hence called off the match. We deeply regret the turn of events and the disappointment it may have caused to our supporters, Gucha supporters,players, and the wider football community.

“We have been working on recovery ever since the match, so we have not really resumed training yet. We have a good team and we know that team, and we beat them 3-1, so we want to continue the momentum and get the win, It is far from over. We have to stay focused because it is never over until the last whistle. We have to be serious and be humble enough that the issue will end on Sunday.
We want to make history by becoming the first team from Kenya to make the group stages. We have to work together as a unit to make sure we fulfil that dream.”
