A community where upcoming footballers are not afraid to come out and exercise their soccer talents and skills with confidence and without fear of intimidation. MISSION:
Through filming, documentation and broadcast of emerging soccer talents and grassroots teams. Futa ni Grao is a platform aimed at giving grassroots teams and footballers an opportunities to scale high through unbiased media representation. Futa Ni Grao is here to show that grassroots football is the future of football in Kenya and rich in skills and talents and is one of the best ways to address poverty and social conflicts in Africa. The 2026/27 Kenyan Premier League season remains on hold after the High Court at Milimani declined Football Kenya Federation’s urgent application seeking to lift orders blocking the league’s commencement on Saturday.

The dispute stems from Kariobangi Sharks’ challenge against the Sports Disputes Tribunal decision that upheld FKF’s 2025 promotion and relegation rules, which resulted in Sharks being automatically relegated from the top flight.

FKF is, however, challenging the High Court’s jurisdiction to hear the matter, arguing that any challenge to the SDT decision should be pursued before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Switzerland.

In fresh directions issued by Hon. Lady Justice Janet Mulwa on 25 August 2026, the court ordered both parties to observe the status quo as at 10 August 2026, the date of the SDT decision.

Since the new KPL season had not commenced on that date, the order preserves the position that existed then.

The parties will return to court on 21 September 2026 for directions on FKF’s Preliminary Objection challenging the court’s jurisdiction and Sharks’ main application.
